SEPYTF 7th Grade

This program is intended for athletes entering into the 7th grade level during the fall semester and intended for athletes living in the Southeast Polk Community School District.

7th Grade Registration fee is $225 per athlete.

*Registration fees are nonrefundable

The 7th grade season begins in Early -August and runs through Mid-October.

Important Dates:

• April 15th thru May 31st - Early (Discounted) Registration
• June 1st- Standard Registration Open
• August 1st @ 9AM (Spring Creek Sports Complex) - Skills Assessment & Equipment Distribution
• August 7th - Coach & Player Team Assignment (Draft)
• Week of August 10th - First Practices

Practices are held near the Altoona Water Facility behind the Altoona Campus.

Altoona Water Plant

Game locations typically located at the following facilities.

• Spring Creek Sports Complex (Altoona)
• Prairie Ridge Sports Complex (Ankeny)

7th Grade practices at the Altoona Water Plant Field (just behind the Altoona Campus).

Practices range from 2-4 times per week depending on the stage of the season. Practices schedules are determined by the Head Coach.

Practice start/finish times and specific days vary but typically range from 5:30 to 7:30, Monday thru Thursday.

Game schedules vary but typically take place on Thursdays or Sundays.

Games are typically held at one of the facilities below:

• Spring Creek Sports Complex (Altoona)
• Prairie Ridge Sports Complex (Ankeny)

SEPYTF provides the following equipment:

• Reversible Game Jersey
• Shoulder Pads
• Helmet + Chin Strap
• Mouthguard

Athletes are responsible for the following equipment:

• Cleats
• Black Football Pants
• Specialized Mouth Guard
• Water Bottle
• Practice Jersey (optional)
