SEPYTF 5th-6th Grade

This program is intended for athletes entering into 5th & 6th grade levels during the fall semester. Additionally, this program is intended for athletes living in the Southeast Polk Community School District.

5th & 6th Grade Registration fee is $225 per athlete.

The 5th & 6th grade season begins in Mid -August and runs through Mid-October.

Important Dates:

• April 15th - May 31st - Early (Discounted) Registration
• June 1st - August 15th - Registration Open
• August 15th @ 11AM Skills Assessment & Equipment Distribution (Spring Creek Sports Complex)
• August 18th - Coach & Player Team Assignments
• August 31st - First Week of Practice
• September 19th - First Game
• October 24th - Last Game

Practices are held on the NW side of the Sam Wise Sports Complex in Altoona.

Game location is at the Spring Creek Sports Complex in Altoona.

5th & 6th Grade practices at the NE corner of the Sam Wise Sports Complex in Altoona

Practices range from 2-4 times per week depending on the stage of the season. Practices schedules are determined by the Head Coach.

Practice start/finish times and specific days vary but typically range from 5:30 to 7:30, Monday thru Thursday.

Game days are Tuesday (PM) and Saturday at Spring Creek. Teams will have a total of 7 games.

• September 19th - First Game
• October 24th - Last Game

SEPYTF provides the following equipment:

• Reversible Game Jersey
• Shoulder Pads
• Helmet + Chin Strap
• Mouthguard

Athletes are responsible for the following equipment:

• Cleats
• Black Football Pants
• Specialized Mouth Guard
• Water Bottle
• Practice Jersey (optional)
