Some reminders about the final week and Superbowl Saturday:

ALL 3/4 and 5/6 games are at the SEP High School field. Following the games, players will need to turn in their equipment. We will use the bathrooms in the northeast corner of the stadium. Please make sure that your players bring a change of clothes.

7th Graders will turn in equipment following their games at Spring Creek. The players will turn in equipment at the storage shed at the south end of the complex.

All equipment must be turned in. This includes chin straps. If a player purchased a personal chin strap and does not remember to bring the original, the purchased chin strap will remain on the helmet.

Following your games, we will have you bring you teams to the NE end of the end zone by the bathrooms. We will have tables set up so players can get equipment turned quickly.

Because of the equipment turn in and trailers we will have on Saturday, the NE Lot (the one directly north of the football field is Closed for parking. Please make sure you park in the large parking lot to the west of the Jr. High.

Punt, Pass, Kick Competition

The Southeast Polk Youth Tackle Football League and the 1999 Southeast Polk Football Memorial Foundation have joined together to offer kids in 3rd through 7th grades the opportunity to participate in a Punt, Pass, Kick competition. Players and family members of the 1999 Southeast Polk football team will be set up on the following game days to allow players to compete for the 1st place trophy in their league division and the opportunity to be recognized at a home Southeast Polk Football varsity game:

10/1 – SEP Varsity Field from 8:30-2:30
10/8 – SEP Varsity Field from 8:30-2:30

Cost to participate is $5 per entry and each participant will receive a 2011 Punt Pass Kick T-shirt. All proceeds that are raised will go directly toward the 1999 Southeast Polk Football Memorial Scholarship Fund through Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars.

The 1999 Southeast Polk Football Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by teammates from the 1999 team as a way to remember their former teammates who have passed away, Matt Witmer, Bradley Kiester, Owen Tibe and Kip Williams. Since 2008 the fund has raised over $16,000 and provided over $12,000 in scholarships to graduating senior football players through Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars.
